Cody Wojdyla, CFP®

As a Certified financial Planner™ professional at Rosemont Financial Group, Cody specializes in helping individuals and small businesses form a comprehensive plan for their financial well-being. Cody believes that identifying goals and formulating a financial plan are crucial, and monitoring these goals and the strategies in place to pursue these goals are equally significant. Cody stays on top of his clients’ needs as they evolve over time, providing follow-up and feedback, support and guidance. By understanding and integrating the many components of their lives, Cody helps his clients pursue their financial goals.

Prior to becoming a financial planner, Cody’s main passion was hockey, playing in a variety of cities including Chicago, Illinois, Bozeman, Montana, and Saint Louis, Missouri. He had a successful college hockey career at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, twice making the ECAC all-academic team while majoring in business management with a concentration in finance. Many of the skills acquired through both playing hockey and being a student athlete have had a major impact on his beliefs and technique as a planner, including constant education, creativity, and hard work.

Joining the financial industry directly out of college, Cody holds his Series 7, Series 66, through LPL Financial and Series 24 licenses as well as his Life and Health insurance license and his NYS Partnership for Long Term Care Insurance license. Cody believes that his largest accomplishment as a financial planner thus far has been achieving the CFP® designation in 2010, which has helped him bring a high level of education and expertise to his clients. He believes that his experiences with 401(k) plans, not for profit retirement plans, and creating retirement income plans have shaped him the most as an advisor. Although Cody enjoys all aspects of financial planning, his main focuses are retirement planning, insurance, and employee benefits for businesses. Cody lives with his wife Katie and dog Marcy in Saratoga Springs and Old Forge. They are avid adventurers and travelers, enjoying hiking, fishing, wakeboarding, snowboarding and mountain biking.

Cody also operates an office out of Old Forge, NY to better serve the greater Adirondack Park region.
