Steven Novotny, CFP®

Steven T. Novotny is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional specializing in retirement planning and wealth management. Since beginning his career in October 2000, Steven has been dedicated to helping clients build, protect, and transition their wealth with clarity and confidence. He holds the CFP® designation, along with FINRA Series 7, Series 66, and Series 24 registrations through LPL Financial, as well as a New York State Life and Health Insurance license.

Steven is a graduate of the University at Albany. His passion for teamwork and leadership began on the basketball court, where he played at the Junior College of Albany and later returned as a coach. He has also been active in his community as the former President of the North Colonie CDYBL Program and has coached multiple basketball teams over the years, including those for his son, Tom.

Outside of his professional life, Steven enjoys traveling, boating, following the financial markets, and staying active in sports. Most of all, he values time with his wife Nancy their two sons Jared and Thomas and the family dog Scout.
