René R. Farrington, AIF® CFP®

René R. Farrington is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional and Accredited Investment Fiduciary®. During 2002 René began practicing as a Comprehensive Wealth Advisor in Upstate New York, continuing his family’s 60 year legacy of advisors in the Securities and Insurance Industry.

René has committed his practice to working in the best interests of pre-retirees and retirees developing comprehensive strategies on portfolio management, retirement income planning, estate preservation, and risk management concerns. In addition, René provides guidance to business owners in the corporate benefits marketplace.

Since starting his career in 2002 René has been committed to continued advancement of his professional development and skills. He has successfully earned licenses for Series 7, Series 66, Series 24 registration held through LPL Financial, Life & Health, the Certified Financial Planner™ certification and most recently the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation.

On a personal note, René received his Bachelor’s Degree in Finance from the University of New York at Brockport in 2002. He resides in Saratoga Springs, NY with his wife Liz, daughter Tessa, and his two sons Jack and Theo. He is an avid adventurer, enjoys skiing (both water and snow), cycling, hiking and traveling.
